1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on a device by a website. Similar technologies, including local storage, can remember settings or information in a browser. This notice uses “browser storage” to describe cookies and similar local technologies together.
2. What SiteSmith currently uses
SiteSmith currently uses essential local browser storage to remember whether you accepted the Terms of Use and acknowledged the Privacy & Cookie Notice. The stored record contains an acceptance status, policy version, and acceptance time. It does not contain your name, email address, project details, or advertising profile.
3. No SiteSmith advertising cookies
SiteSmith does not currently set its own advertising, cross-site behavioral tracking, or personalized marketing cookies. If this changes, the notice and consent choices will be updated before non-essential technologies are enabled where consent is required.
4. Form processing
When you choose to submit a project request, review, or referral, the information is sent to FormSubmit for processing and delivered to SiteSmith through Gmail. FormSubmit and Google may process technical information or use technologies under their own privacy and cookie policies. These services are activated by your voluntary form submission.
5. Hosting and security
The hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses, request details, device or browser information, security events, and similar technical data needed to deliver, secure, and maintain the website. Strictly necessary technologies may be used for security, load balancing, and reliable operation.
6. External websites
Links to TikTok, Instagram, client websites, and other third parties take you away from SiteSmith. Those websites may set their own cookies or use tracking technologies. Their notices and controls apply after you visit them.
7. Managing your choice
You can reopen the SiteSmith consent panel using “Privacy choices” in the footer. You can also delete the SiteSmith acceptance record by clearing this site’s stored data in your browser. Clearing it will cause the consent panel to appear again on your next visit.
8. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice if the website begins using new services or technologies. If the change materially affects consent, visitors will be asked to review the updated notice again.
9. Contact
Questions about this notice can be sent to sitesmith.websites@gmail.com.
This notice describes the website’s current configuration and is a general operational template, not legal advice. SiteSmith should review it whenever new analytics, advertising, chat, booking, payment, or embedded-media tools are added.
